We are now an official X-LAB dealer. Experience pioneering aerodynamics and brutal efficiency at outstanding value for money. Drop by and see the X-LAB AD9 in the design of the XDS Astana team. It is X-LAB's flagship and the race bike of the WorldTour team.

## Who is behind X-LAB

X-LAB is the performance line of XDS. [By its own account, the company builds more than eight million bikes a year](https://xds.co/pages/company), with over 14,000 employees in five factories of its own. Carbon, aluminium, wheels and test rigs all sit under one roof. X-LAB is the development programme that turns this know-how into road bikes.

## From the factory to the WorldTour peloton

In 2024, Astana still raced on Wilier. Since 2025 the team has been called XDS Astana and rides the AD9. [The kit stayed the same through the switch](https://www.cyclingnews.com/features/the-pro-pelotons-newest-bike-the-chinese-x-lab-ad9-ridden-by-xds-astana/): Shimano Dura-Ace and Vision Metron 60 SL wheels.

## Dealers first

X-LAB sells through bike shops and calls this itself “dealers first”. For you that means you see the bike before you buy it. Test rides are by appointment, and our workshop takes care of maintenance and repairs.
