# Titanium on the temples — Scicon's Aeroshade 2.0 lands on Strade Bianche day

On 7 March 2026 [Scicon Sports of Mussolente releases the Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium](https://sciconsports.com/en-intl/pages/aeroshade-2-0-titanium-press-release). On the same day Pogačar rides the white gravel roads of Tuscany to a fourth Strade Bianche win. A better launch day is hard to plan.

## Five years to the second generation

Scicon entered the eyewear business in 2020. Within a few months the brand equipped four WorldTour teams and won the Tour de France with Pogačar. The glasses on that ride: the Aeroshade.

After more than five years, the Innovation & Design Center rebuilt the model — material, shape and function.

## What is new

Titanium on the temples. Scicon gives structural stiffness and long-term durability as the reason for the choice.

The redrawn front is more angular and flatter. It carries micro vents that cut fogging at high intensity. The nose pad is called Flexifit 2.0 and brings Horizon Adapt, a height adjustment for how the glasses sit on the face.

The lenses carry Hi-Contrast: cylindrical, mirrored or photochromic, in several filter categories. They are laser cut, which keeps the edges clean and reduces fingerprints.

## And after that

After Pogačar's fifth Tour win in July, Scicon released [a 5 Tour special edition](https://sciconsports.com/en-intl/pages/scicon-sports-celebrates-tadej-pogacars-fifth-tour-de-france-victory-with-a-limited-edition-aeroshade-2-0-titanium), in fluo yellow with a bronze mirror coating.

We do not carry the Aeroshade 2.0. From Scicon we stock the Aeroscope and the Aerowing, the latter also as a photochromic version.
