On 25 February 2026, MET and Tadej Pogačar release [two limited-edition helmets](https://www.bikeradar.com/news/tadej-pogacar-met-helmets-2026): the Manta and the Trenta 3K Carbon. The finish shimmers and changes colour with the light and the viewing angle.

## Two helmets, two jobs

[The Trenta 3K Carbon is a climber's helmet](https://www.tour-magazin.de/en/buying-advice/clothing/helmets/new-met-helmets-with-a-winning-design-met-launches-two-tadej-pogacar-helmets-on-the-market/): it weighs 260 grams, has 24 vents and is built for heat and long climbs. The Manta is the fast brother, with NACA vents and a more closed shape. Depending on size, both sit between 240 and 290 grams.

The Manta carries the Safe-T Orbital adjustment system and a magnetic Fidlock buckle. Both models have Mips.

## The finish

The appeal is that the colour is not fixed. The helmet looks different in the morning sun than in the shade under trees. [MET describes the design as ethereal](https://www.thecyclingweek.com/post/tadej-pogacar-and-met-release-limited-edition-helmets-with-etherial-design).

Whether you like it is a matter of taste. One thing is clear: this is not a team logo stuck on top, it is a paint job of its own.

## Availability

When MET says limited, it means limited. The Manta was around 280 euros at launch. We stock both models in the colour Lilla, size M.
