## WINFORCE Signature Line – CHO MAXX, Beutel 1200 g – Neutral

CHO MAXX is a sports drink powder developed and manufactured in Switzerland for maximal efforts — here in the neutral, flavor-free variant. The formulation relies on a **1:0.8 glucose-to-fructose ratio**, so you can supply up to **120 g carbohydrates per hour** under high intensity without unnecessary sweetness. The blend of natural **starch** and **isomaltulose** provides energy with a pleasantly restrained taste; the **osmotic concentration of 12%** is designed for stomach tolerance. The pouch with **1200 g** corresponds to 20 servings of 60 g each, making it ideal for regular endurance training and race use. Additionally, product development was fine-tuned with practical feedback from the Groupama–FDJ Cycling Team, which underlines its orientation toward competitive cycling. CHO MAXX is manufactured entirely in Switzerland.

- Neutral taste without flavoring; ingredients: **starch blend (potato, corn)**, **fructose**, **isomaltulose**, **table salt**
- **Maltodextrin-free** and therefore less sweet in taste
- **1:0.8 glucose–fructose**-concept for high carbohydrate uptake per hour
- **Osmotic concentration 12%** for good stomach tolerance during intense effort
- Nutritional values per 100 g: 392 kcal, 98 g carbohydrates (of which 52 g sugar), 0 g fat, 0 g protein, 0 g fiber, 0.5 g salt
- One pack contains 20 servings; **Swiss Made**

## Technical details and functions

The carbohydrate matrix combines slower **starch sources** with **isomaltulose**, a carbohydrate source with a lower glycemic response than sucrose or glucose — this supports a more even energy release. Research shows that mixtures of **glucose** and **fructose** sources can increase the absorption and oxidation of carbohydrates during endurance efforts. Very high intake rates up to **120 g/h** have also been successfully tested in studies using multiple-transport carbohydrates, which supports the high ambition of the CHO-MAXX concept. At the same time, CHO MAXX omits **maltodextrin** and thus remains sensorily less sweet — practical when long sessions and high fluid volumes are on the agenda. The **12%** concentration targets good tolerance, while the neutral variant remains flexible in flavor. Composition and objective are therefore clearly aimed at ambitious endurance performance in cycling.

## Applications and benefits

CHO MAXX plays to its strengths on long base rides, intense intervals as well as **marathons, Alpine passes** and races when constant energy matters. For efforts beyond two hours, **glucose–fructose** mixtures have proven effective; depending on training goals and tolerance, **90–120 g carbohydrates per hour** is a sensible guideline. Thanks to the neutral taste, the drink can be easily combined with gels or salt tablets without overpowering flavors. Preparation is simple: stir **60 g powder per 500 ml water** and shake well; this makes the pouch equal to around **20 bottles** of 500 ml. Those aiming for carbohydrate amounts above 90 g/h should gradually build up their **gastrointestinal tolerance** in training. Isomaltulose also contributes to more stable blood sugar control before and during effort.

## Technical details and functions

Application is guided by the load: for intensive sections or long climbs you can plan bottles so that 60–120 g carbohydrates per hour are supplied from drinks and bars/gels combined. Start conservatively and increase intake in 10–20 g steps per week until you reach your individual limit. Store the powder **cool and dry**, and ideally mix it with fresh drinking water just before the ride. The **1:0.8** concept addresses the transport pathways **SGLT1** (glucose) and **GLUT5** (fructose) in parallel, which supports carbohydrate utilization at high intake rates. For athletes who value subtler sweetness and high digestibility, the neutral variant is particularly suitable.
