The Assos TRAIL Liner Shorts HP T3 are super-lightweight, robust liner shorts for ambitious off-road rides – from steep singletrack to rough gravel sections. At their heart is the new OFF-ROAD HP T3 chamois, which improves air circulation, further reduces friction during pedaling, and noticeably dampens vibrations on rough terrain. Additional protection comes from the integrated ImpactorTec T3 hip pads, which feature enlarged coverage and ventilated inserts. The redesigned zeroPressure Waist concept stabilizes the shorts without building pressure, making them virtually disappear under outer shorts. The construction is deliberately breathable and durable, ideal for hot summer days in Switzerland and demanding climbs. As part of the TACTICA system, the liner combines optimally with cargo shorts, knickers, or pants.

Technical Details and Features

The OFF-ROAD HP T3 chamois is built on the Mono9 damping platform: compressive foam layers at 9 mm thickness, thermoformed to smooth edges and minimize chafing. The patented 3D Waffle structure saves weight, increases breathability, and absorbs impacts on root carpets and gravel. With goldenGate 2.0, the insert is only fixed at front and back, with the sides "floating" with the body – new cutouts reduce volume and friction during pedaling. kraterCooler perforations at the front edge channel fresh air through the pad and stabilize the microclimate. The Superlight Leg Grippers combine lightweight compression hold with elastic grip, so nothing slips even when it gets wet. All central seams are deliberately moved to the outside, leaving only a smooth, friction-free surface against the skin on the inside.
