MILLE GT Spring Fall Bib Tights S11

The bib tights are designed for long rides in cool, dry weather in late spring and early fall. They offer medium insulation. Assos specifies a temperature range of around 12 to 20 °C.

Technical Details and Features

POLAR is a warp-knit fabric with a weight of 250 g/m² and a brushed, soft inner surface. This inner surface retains warmth without adding bulk. Half of the material is made from recycled polyamide sourced from production waste. The main material consists of 86% polyamide and 14% elastane, and the chamois pad is made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. The manufacturer gives breathability 4 out of 5 points and insulation 3 out of 5. Wind and water protection are each rated 1 out of 5, so these tights are best suited to dry days.

The slim regular fit and close-to-the-body shape get by with very few seams, which prevents chafing and makes it easier to combine with other layers. The waist and leg hems are raw-cut and stay in place with light pressure, without adding bulk. The patented rollBar strap construction comes from the Racing Series. It holds the pad in place when your weight shifts while sprinting, climbing and cornering. The zeroPressure Waist is made from a soft, highly elastic material and is designed to stay in place at the waistband without pressure or constriction.

The pad combines the popular MILLE pad with a soft, pressure-relieving Sundeck Panel. It is 12 mm thick. The foam layers absorb shocks, and the thermoformed design reduces pressure points and irritation. The perforated 3D waffle foam, made up of three layers, increases breathability and saves weight. Thanks to goldenGate 2.0, the pad floats freely and follows the movement of your body. New cut-outs on the wings reduce friction while pedaling.
