With Momentum, Suarez launches its most extensive collection to date. 147 products, divided into men’s, women’s and accessories — jerseys, bib shorts, vests, jackets, gloves, caps and arm warmers. Plus a new generation designation: 2.5.

What’s new

The nomenclature reveals the ambition. After the previous numbering (2.0, 2.3), Generation 2.5 marks a technological leap across the entire range. New cuts, revised panel constructions and updated fabrics run through all lines — from the Lite series for warm conditions to the thermal parts for winter.

The color palette is strikingly unique: Opal Blue, Dusty Rose, muted earth tones alongside classic black and white. Suarez dares to use colors that don’t look like the usual racing bike uniformity — without drifting into garishness.

Breadth over niche

147 products are ambitious for a brand still considered an insider tip outside South America. Until now, Suarez was mainly known for national team kits and licensed Grand Tour jerseys. Momentum positions the brand as a full-range supplier: from lightweight summer jerseys to long-sleeved versions and lined winter shorts.

The collection is priced between 16 and 226 US dollars — well below the European premium brands that offer comparable technology.

Assessment

Momentum reads like an announcement. Suarez no longer wants to be just the Colombian outfitter that delivers good quality at fair prices. With 147 items, a clear design language and an independent color world, the brand is positioning itself against Castelli, Sportful and Co. Whether international sales can keep up remains to be seen — the collection itself is ready.
