X-LAB AD9 Aero Road Bike with Shimano Ultegra Di2
The AD9 is an aero road bike from X-LAB with a frame and fork made from Toray T1100 carbon. Its aerodynamics were developed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and tested in the wind tunnel at Silverstone. It's built with Shimano Ultegra Di2 and disc brakes.
Technical Details and Features
The frame is UDH-compatible, the carbon fork uses a 12 x 100 mm thru-axle, and the carbon seatpost has an aero profile. The frameset weighs 1.58 kilograms in size M (measured without headset) and is available in sizes XS to XL. The handlebar and stem form an integrated carbon cockpit from Branta.
The Branta C50 ULR carbon wheels have a rim depth of 50 millimetres and weigh 1,230 grams together. The crankset is also from Branta, made of carbon, and features an integrated power meter with theft protection. Saddle comfort comes from a Prologo carbon saddle.
Use Cases and Benefits
The AD9 is built for racing and fast rides where air resistance makes the difference. The integrated power meter gives you wattage data right on the bike, so you can manage your training and racing without any extra parts.
