The PISSEI PRIMAPELLE WINTERJACKET embodies what the Primapelle line stands for: absolute comfort, understated elegance and thoughtful technology for ambitious cyclists. The front panel is reinforced with a windproof, water-repellent membrane, while the rest of the body is made from brushed Warm‑Touch thermal fabric that provides pleasant warmth while remaining breathable. This creates a balanced microclimate that performs reliably on cold rides around Zurich or over the Albis. Depending on the version, PISSEI specifies a temperature range of -6 to 6 °C or 6 to 12 °C, which can be well adapted to Swiss winter conditions with appropriate layering. The raw-cut sleeves connect seamlessly with gloves, and a reflective insert on the back increases visibility at dusk. The jacket is available in four variants in our range.

The remaining part of the jacket uses Warm‑Touch: a brushed thermal fabric that feels soft, stores heat and allows moisture to escape quickly. The construction is modern and minimalist, reducing seams and friction points; the fit remains sporty but natural. Raw-cut sleeves avoid unnecessary bulk and close cleanly with winter gloves. Reflective details on the back provide visibility, lighting up well in diffuse headlight conditions. Material according to manufacturer: 46% polyamide, 46% elastane, 6% polyester, 2% polyurethane – the high elastane content ensures pleasant stretch and a close-to-body fit.

In the transition season it can be combined with light functional underwear, in deep winter with insulating mid-layers to hit your individual comfort window. The race-oriented cut prevents flapping on descents over the Pfannenstiel or along Lake Zurich. At the same time, the wearing comfort remains relaxed thanks to elastic materials and reduced seams, even on long base training sessions. Those who frequently ride at dusk benefit from the reflective elements for greater presence in traffic. The jacket thus combines everyday practicality for commuting with the performance that sporty riders expect in winter training.

Fit and Size Selection

The Primapelle‑Fit sits close without constricting and supports an aerodynamic, active position on the road bike. Thanks to the high elasticity, the jacket moulds to different body shapes and follows movements in shoulders and torso without creasing. For substantial layering, we recommend keeping your usual road bike size and controlling insulation via base and mid-layers, rather than choosing a larger jacket size. The minimised seam construction improves comfort over long distances and reduces potential friction points. Matching women's and men's variants are available to ensure proper fit and proportions.

Care and Durability

To maintain the technical properties for a long time, the manufacturer recommends machine washing inside out at max. 30 °C on delicate cycle. No fabric softener, do not bleach, do not iron and do not tumble dry; best to air dry. Wash dark and light colours separately to avoid colour transfer. With this care, the membrane performance lasts longer and the Warm‑Touch feel remains pleasantly soft.
