The Assos MILLE GT Wind Jacket S11 is a windproof and water-repellent lightweight jacket for rides in cool, changeable weather, now with an even more compact pack size and fully protected back panel. The woven main fabric has been revised for S11 to compress smaller and fit easily into your jersey pocket – ideal for quick weather changes in Switzerland. Thanks to the two-way zipper, you can regulate ventilation on climbs or quickly access your jersey pockets from below. The jacket comes in a regularFit for comfortable layering and is designed for temperatures ranging from approximately +12 to >+21 °C. We stock it in three variants: Black Series, Almond Milk, and Edge Green in sizes XS–3XL.

Technical Details and Features

The front and back as well as the exposed outer surfaces of the sleeves are made from a tightly woven textile that blocks wind and, thanks to Eco-DWR, sheds light rain and spray. In less exposed areas, Sens Air panels provide targeted elasticity and breathability, allowing the jacket to move comfortably during out-of-saddle efforts and longer climbs. The double slider on the zipper enables precise fine-tuning of ventilation and makes it easier to access pockets underneath. The seam-reduced, close-fitting regularFit shape minimizes friction points and layers cleanly over jersey and base layer. Thanks to the revised main fabric, the jacket folds down small and can be stowed in a jersey pocket – ready for any weather change.

Applications and Benefits

Designed as a 1/3 Summer layer, the MILLE GT Wind Jacket S11 shows its strengths on cool morning rides, in windy Jura passes, or on long Alpine descents. Worn over your summer jersey, it reliably protects against wind chill without overheating and stays within reach thanks to its compact pack size. On climbs, you can open the zipper from below for more air; before descents, you close it and benefit from the high wind protection (5/5). The continuous back panel better keeps out spray when the road is wet, while the jacket is deliberately not designed as a rain jacket (water protection 1/5). This gives you a balanced setup for transitional weather that sensibly combines protection, breathability, and weight.

Fit, Variants, and Sizes

The S11 version replaces the previous C2 generation and returns with lighter fabric, refined fit, and two-way zipper. Its regularFit is streamlined but not restrictive, so base layer and jersey sit cleanly underneath without flapping. The jacket is available in sizes XS to 3XL, covering larger riders as well. We stock three popular variants for Switzerland: Black Series for a minimalist look, Almond Milk as a lighter option, and Edge Green as a subtle color with good visibility contrast.
