The Assos RS 2/3 Rain Booties P1 are aerodynamic rain overshoes for fast rides in wet, cool weather in Switzerland. A more elastic, warmer textile provides a second-skin fit with low volume, so nothing catches the wind and contact with the crank is avoided. At the same time, the material offers waterproof protection according to the manufacturer, while the Acqua Shield Tec treatment lets water bead off the surface. The RS 2/3 Rain Booties P1 use a material blend with main fabric consisting of 59% polyamide, 26% polyurethane and 15% elastane; the front panel consists of 65% polyester and 35% polyurethane. This combination enables a close-fitting, elastic shell with additional warmth at the exposed forefoot. The AEPD 11 racingFit construction is based on WorldTour feedback and delivers an aerodynamic silhouette with stabilizing compression. Weather protection is provided by Acqua Shield Tec, a water-repellent treatment that lets water bead off and supports a dry microclimate. The reinforced toe area is abrasion-resistant and improves traction when pushing off on wet asphalt.
