The EQUIPE RS Bib Shorts S11 is Assos's redesigned WorldTour bib shorts – lighter, more breathable and with noticeably more compression across the major muscle groups. At its heart is the new Type.911 fabric, which dries faster, inhibits odours and protects with UPF 50+. Because the material is more elastic and supportive, Assos was able to eliminate the previous rollBar strap construction and smooth out the overall fit. The racingFit sits like a second skin and was developed with input from the professional peloton. The revised RS S11 chamois remains slim at 9mm, is thermoformed and optimised for minimal friction. The shorts are available in six sizes from XS to 2XL for a precise, athletic fit.

The Type.911 in jersey construction delivers a silky-smooth, abrasion-resistant surface and provides stabilising compression, fast drying and UPF 50+ protection – ideal when it gets really hot in Switzerland during summer. The racingFit combines micro-adjusted panels and raw-edge processed hems for minimal transitions and very low volume. cranKio Tec eliminates bunching at the front of the hips, while the Soft compression Module stabilises the torso without restricting movement in aggressive racing positions. The selectively placed INject leg gripper sits only at the rear part of the leg finishes, reducing friction and weight while keeping the grip area protected from sun. In the RS S11 Insert, the Mineral Tec Surface reduces friction on the skin; kraterCooler and whirlKrater direct cooling air precisely over the pad. The Mono 9 damping platform (9mm) is thermoformed, minimises edges and irritation while deliberately staying flat.

Applications and Benefits

The RS S11 is made for hot summer days, interval blocks and racing – from the Zurich lowlands to long Alpine passes. The higher compression supports the thighs, dampens micro-vibrations and can reduce fatigue over many kilometres. Thanks to the breathable construction, the chamois keeps you dry with targeted airflow, even when things get serious. Fit and Variants

The EQUIPE RS S11 fits athletically-compressive and is available in XS–2XL; the size range covers slim to athletic builds. If you prefer more coverage, choose the Long variant with +3cm leg length – the technology and chamois are identical to the standard version. The blackSeries colour provides a understated, premium look that harmonises with any jersey. For the best possible performance, we recommend wearing the shorts close to the body; the material only develops its supportive effect properly when it fits snugly.
