According to the manufacturer the product is gluten-free and specifically developed for the phase before exercise.

Technical details and features
Each 45 g sachet provides a gel-like matrix based on fructose syrup, Isomaltulose (approx. 16.2% of the formulation) and glucose syrup, gelled with pectin and balanced with sodium citrates. Per 100 g the product supplies about 58 g carbohydrates; for the 45 g serving this converts to roughly 26 g, most of which is sugar. The caffeine addition is 0.11% in the formulation, which in practice corresponds to 50 mg per sachet; two sachets therefore deliver about 100 mg caffeine and together around 50 g carbohydrates. Additionally Thiamin (Vitamin B1) is included; the product is gluten-free and may contain traces of milk. Relevant for pre-loading: Isomaltulose leads to a smaller rise in blood glucose after ingestion compared with conventional sugar, a point supported by European regulatory positions on sugar substitutes and Isomaltulose.
Use cases and benefits
For Swiss cyclists PRE SPORT Cola is particularly useful for intense sessions, long base rides or races of 60–90 minutes when you want to start with high carbohydrate availability. If you take the jellies 1–2 hours before the start, you specifically top up stores and benefit from the caffeine kick in the early race phase. Choosing Isomaltulose as part of the carbohydrate mix can help keep the glycemic response moderate without sacrificing available energy. In combination with on-bike fueling (e.g. 30–60 g carbohydrates per hour depending on duration/intensity) you can build a continuous supply strategy for road, Gravel or MTB.
Usage and Dosage
The manufacturer recommends 1–2 sachets of 45 g, ideally 1–2 hours before training or competition start; two sachets provide about 50 g carbohydrates and 100 mg caffeine. For morning starts intake can also be closer to the start if it sits well with your stomach and you've tested it in training. Also follow common endurance recommendations for the pre-start phase, i.e. about 1–4 g carbohydrates per kg body weight in the hours before intense efforts, and coordinate this with your other nutrition. Test timing and amount on training rides before using it on your race day on an Alpine pass or in a marathon.
