KOO Nebula

The KOO Nebula is a frameless sports eyewear for athletes, adventurers and everyone who likes to move fast in everyday life. At just 21 g, it's among the lightweights and sits comfortably and securely even on long rides. Developed and Made in Italy, it combines clear vision with bold design in six striking colour combinations – optionally also with Photochromic lenses. The toric ZEISS® nylon lens provides a wide field of vision and high optical precision in changing conditions.

Technical Details and Features

The heart of the Nebula is the ZEISS® nylon lens in toric geometry, which enables a particularly wide field of vision and high sharpness right to the edge. The lenses are scratch-resistant and meet relevant safety standards, providing reliable UV protection for use in Switzerland – from the lowlands to the Alps. For the mirrored variants, the VLT values range from 20–23% depending on colour (mostly filter category 2) and are therefore ideal for bright to changeable light. The Photochromic options cover category 1–3 and vary depending on tint, for example from 43–10% VLT (Rose Gold) or 73–14% VLT (Graphite) – practical when light changes quickly on your ride. Grippy temples and exchangeable nose pads provide stability, so the glasses sit securely even at speed.

Fit, Care and Replacement Lenses

The one-size-fits-all becomes flexible through the exchangeable nose pads, optimising the fit for narrow and wide noses alike. For maximum versatility, replacement lenses are available, including a clear lens with VLT 90% (category 0) – ideal for dusk, tunnels or very dark days. Clean the lenses with water and a soft microfibre cloth; aggressive cleaners or dry, dusty cloths can damage coatings. This keeps the optical quality intact for a long time and you can equip the Nebula with the appropriate VLT depending on the season.
