The Assos Winter Gloves EVO are windproof, water-repellent and compact cycling gloves for cold days, redesigned with additional insulation performance. The newly developed palm construction prevents bunching, keeps the grip feel on the handlebars precise and maintains finger mobility. Instead of microfiber, the palm uses a breathable thermal textile that absorbs less moisture, keeping the climate inside the gloves stable. The palm padding layout matches that of the Assos summer and mid-season gloves, so comfort feels consistent throughout the year.

Technical Details and Features

The outer hand consists of 85% polyamide and 15% elastane, the lining of 100% polyester; the palm combines 60% polyamide with 40% polyurethane, while the inserts contain 92% polyester and 8% elastane. This thermal textile acts as a barrier against wind and moisture, but remains breathable, allowing sweat to escape faster and keeping hands dry longer. The palm made from the new material replaces traditional microfiber, which tends to store sweat and spray water; this keeps the handlebar feel more direct even on wet roads. The anatomical cut reduces excess material, prevents annoying wrinkles and supports finger dexterity when shifting and braking. An extended cuff closes the gap between jacket sleeve and glove, which is particularly noticeable on fast descents around Zurich and in the Mittelland. Additionally, the Winter Gloves EVO are touchscreen-compatible, so navigation and phone operation remain possible without taking them off.
