The Protone Icon combines performance, aerodynamics and safety in a helmet that suits a range of disciplines. The shell blends the lower and upper sections seamlessly, giving the helmet a clean silhouette while boosting aerodynamics at the same time. This makes the Protone Icon ideal for riders tackling the road, gravel adventures, cyclocross races or MTB cross-country.
Technical Details and Features
Inside, a newly designed frame provides extra stability for the helmet shell. The OCTOFIT+ adjustment system adapts to your head shape and is complemented by a vertical stabiliser at the back of the neck, delivering a balanced feel and a personalised fit. The adjustment dial is rubberised so it stays easy to grip even with gloves on, while a reflective element at the back of the head boosts visibility in traffic. The interior padding is made from polyester with CoolMax technology, which wicks away moisture quickly, is removable and washable. The chin strap is crafted from synthetic leather. The shell features a matte finish. The helmet weighs 230 grams and meets the CE / UKCA safety standard in line with EN 1078.

On long road rides, riders benefit from the stable fit that stays secure even when the pace changes. On gravel and cyclocross terrain, the vertical stabiliser keeps the helmet steady on your head even over uneven ground.
