The CDA Waterproof Jacket in Black is a rain jacket for rides where it stays wet and windy for a long time. It keeps water out while letting sweat escape to the outside. The material is an Italian 3-layer laminate with a matte look.
Technical Details and Features
The laminate bonds three layers firmly together: a matte microfiber outer face, a waterproof membrane and an inner layer. The water column is 10,000 mm (ISO 811). The RET value is below 6 (ISO 11092), placing the fabric in the highest breathability class. Despite this, the fabric weighs just 85 g/m².
The waterproof two-way zipper comes from YKK®. Mechanical stretch in the fabric leaves enough room to wear the jacket over a thermal jersey. The cuffs have elastic inserts, and reflective details on the sleeves provide additional visibility. The hem is elastically adjustable, and an inside pocket holds small items.
Uses and Benefits
The jacket is suited to autumn and spring as well as cool days in the mountains. As soon as the rain stops, you can pack the jacket up and stow it in a jersey pocket.
