MC Shell Jacket Sage by GIVELO
The MC Shell Jacket in Sage is a lightweight wind jacket for rides with changing weather. It belongs to the MODERN CLASSIC line. If it gets cool after an early start or a long descent is coming up, it keeps the wind out. Afterwards, you simply fold it into its own inner pocket, where it's about the size of an energy bar and fits into the rear pocket of your jersey.
Technical Details and Features
The material is a Japanese 20D nylon in an ultra-fine micro ripstop weave. It's made from recycled nylon and provides water-repellent, windproof protection. According to the manufacturer, the fabric weight is 53 g/m². The draw-textured structure provides stretch and a soft feel. It also traps a little air, which adds a touch of warmth. The typical crinkle look comes from this manufacturing process. Unlike many shells, the fabric doesn't cling to your skin when you sweat.
The back panel is made from recycled Italian knit fabric. A YKK® two-way zipper opens from the top and the bottom, so you can ventilate the jacket flexibly on climbs and descents. Two zippered side pockets hold small essentials. The sleeve cuffs are reflective and improve visibility in poor light. The elastic hem band is OEKO-TEX® certified. The logos change color under UV light.
Uses and Benefits
The jacket is designed for transitional seasons and is worn over your jersey. Because it packs down so small, you can take it along even when the sky still looks clear. It's available in the color Sage, which comes in three variants.
