Thanks to the two-layer twinDeck construction, warmth stays at your feet while the perforated circular knit structure maintains high breathability. For additional weather protection, the outer layer is treated with DWR – ideal when it gets wet and cold in the Mittelland. A concealed Camlock zipper and the raw-cut zeroCuff create a clean, aerodynamic silhouette without any disruptive transition to your tights.

For the main material, Assos uses ThermoShell in two overlapping layers, a 3-layer softshell with sealed PU membrane and a perforated circular knit surface. This way, the overshoe combines noticeable warmth with controlled breathability, without the typical sweaty climate of many neoprene models. The outer layer additionally receives DWR treatment, which better repels dirt and spray. The concealed Camlock zipper minimizes turbulence and stays reliably in place, while the zeroCuff finish creates a clean, wrinkle-free transition to your tights. When walking, the sportGrip sole with one-way stretch reduces slip risk and increases the durability of the underside. The material composition is 47% polyester, 35% polyamide, 18% elastane (front-end 65% polyester, 35% polyurethane).

Fit and Practical Tips

The booties are available in sizes 0, I, II and III, so you can choose them to match your road or gravel shoes. Ideally, pull the overshoes over dry socks and shoes and close the Camlock zipper cleanly so the zeroCuff lies flat. Under long winter tights, this creates a tight transition that optimizes thermal performance and minimizes drafts. Combined with warm winter socks, this creates efficient protection against windchill without noticeable extra bulk at the foot. The robust sportGrip underside gives you grip at traffic lights and when carrying your bike, without affecting mobility on the pedal.
