Technical Details and Features

The S-PHYRE SL RD relies on a one-piece PA lens with a low refractive index and a high Abbe value, which increases image sharpness and minimizes chromatic aberration. The ultrasonically welded interface between lens and nosepiece keeps the field of view wide and stable without annoying deformation under vibration. The frame made from Rilsan® G850 Rnew® saves weight and reduces the use of fossil resources, while the shortened temples make putting the glasses on and off under a helmet easier. Long-lasting clear vision is ensured by UV400, an oleophobic layer against water and fingerprints and a scratch-resistant coating that the manufacturer states is three times tougher than conventional coatings. Factory-fitted items include a reversible nosepad, grippy TPE temple tips, a sustainable paper packaging that doubles as a hard case, and an rPET microfiber pouch.
