The outer layer uses waterShield technology, a 2-layer membrane with windproof and waterproof properties that works in practice as outer protection over differently warm liners. The fit is constructed to leave room for layering while maintaining finger mobility. The long, elastic cuff covers the transition to the sleeve so no moisture or drafts can penetrate. On the inside, silicone prints increase traction on the handlebars and hoods, even when everything is wet. The material composition is 90% polyamide and 10% elastane, which supports stretchability and the small pack size. Important for classification: the laminate is sealed, but the seams are not taped, so moisture penetration through the seams should be expected during hours of continuous rain.

These rain shell gloves are made for road cycling, gravel and commuting routes when it's wet, windy and changeable in Switzerland. In transitional seasons, many wear them over thin spring gloves, while in winter they complement thicker liners or neoprene for additional protection. Handling remains precise thanks to the five fingers, which noticeably builds confidence on long descents or technical gravel sections. During showers in the Mittelland or on cold passes in Valais, riders benefit from the combination of wind block and spray protection. For very long rides in heavy rain, pairing with warm liners is recommended, as the non-taped seams can eventually let moisture through.

Choose your normal glove size as a rule; the model is designed to be worn over same-sized liner gloves. The variant is available in blackSeries and sizes from XS to 2XL, covering most hand circumferences. For cold rainy days, the combination with insulated or neoprene liners has proven effective, while thin undergloves are sufficient in mild conditions. After rides in the rain, rinse briefly with water and air dry; avoid strong heat sources to protect the membrane. Since the surface is very smooth and thin, it's best to pack the shells separately to minimize abrasion with rough surfaces in your bag.
