The Assos TACTICA Shell Jacket T5 is a lightweight off-road jacket for high intensity in cool, wet and changeable weather, redesigned with even more breathability and additional reflectors. The Breaker textile protects the front with windproof and DWR treatment, while Yubari at the back regulates your microclimate as an ultra-breathable panel. The construction is so slim that you can pack the jacket as small as possible – ideal for backpacks or frame bags on gravel and trail tours. The movement-friendly TACTICA T5 fit remains less aggressive than racingFit and offers full freedom of movement on and off the bike.

Technical Details and Features

The Breaker main material forms a windproof shield at the front and is equipped with DWR water-repellent treatment; at only 35 g/m² it barely adds bulk and packs extremely small. On the back, Yubari provides very high breathability and supports fine-tuning of your microclimate during intensive off-road use. Additionally, Type.718 inserts are used in less exposed zones, increasing abrasion resistance and elasticity to stabilize the sleek silhouette. The TACTICA T5 fit balances low bulk and aerodynamics with comfort and freedom of movement, even when you get out of the saddle or have a carry section. The reflective elements are strategically placed on shoulders and lower back – where they have the most effect in Swiss twilight. Composition: Front 100% polyamide; sleeves/sides 58% polyamide, 42% elastane; back panel 100% polyamide; collar/pocket 76% polyamide, 24% elastane.
