The React Optray Amber is a pair of sunglasses for sport and everyday use that automatically adjusts its tint in just 0.1 seconds. Its ShadeTronic technology is energy-autonomous using solar cells, so no battery or charging is required. The filter categories S2 to S4 cover the range from medium to very dark – ideal when you switch between sun, shade and tunnels. The Amber design combines a silver mirror coating with a tortoiseshell frame and brings subtle street-chic to everyday cycling. With UV400 protection and polarized lenses you're protected against glare and harmful rays. Technical details and features

At its core is a liquid-crystal-based LCD element that is powered via integrated solar cells and controls the tint continuously. According to the manufacturer, the ShadeTronic lenses darken up to 300 times faster and lighten up to 1200 times faster than classic photochromic lenses, keeping visibility practically stable without delay. The tint thus spans the range of S2 to S4, from brighter to very dark sunlight, similar to glacier or high-mountain light. The UV400 filtering blocks UVA, UVB and UVC rays up to 400 nm, while the polarization reduces reflections and improves contrast. For eyeglass wearers, a suitable prescription clip is available, which can be fitted with prescription lenses by an optician. Additionally, the lenses are designed for scratch resistance and shatterproof performance, increasing everyday suitability on the bike.
