The Assos MILLE GT Hashoogi Winter Jacket S11 is a regular-fit winter jacket for long rides and base-training miles in cold, demanding conditions. Softshell fabrics on the chest, shoulders and sleeves block the wind while providing breathable insulation. The cut sits close to the body and adds very little bulk. Even in an upright riding position, you still have plenty of freedom of movement.

Technical Details and Features

The main fabric is called AIRBLOCK-EVO.916 and is the warmest material in the further-developed AIRBLOCK family. It blocks wind, light precipitation and spray, and is stretchier and more supple than on the previous model. On the sleeves, NEOS Light Softshell meets the insulating RX Thermo fabric on the inside at exposed areas. A back panel made of RX EVO Plus provides more breathability across the back without weakening protection. All fabrics are either waterproof or treated with an eco-friendly, water-repellent finish. The composition is 54% polyamide, 26% polyester and 20% elastane.

The bodySleeve AEPD construction hugs your body contours with high elasticity, which improves aerodynamics and moisture transport. The struzzoCollar insulates lightly and softly and regulates the microclimate at your neck without you having to open the zipper. The raw-edge finishes prevent chafing against Skin Layers and gloves. Flexible fabric panels are sewn into the pockets to secure the contents and protect them from light precipitation and spray. Reflective elements on the pockets increase visibility in poor light.

Applications and Benefits

Assos specifies a temperature range of +4 to +11 °C for the jacket. It scores 5 out of 5 for wind protection, 4 out of 5 for insulation, and 3 out of 5 each for breathability and waterproofness. This makes it well suited to cold winter days when you spend long hours in the saddle and wind is your biggest enemy.
